Secured By Design Requirement

Any organisations applying to become a Secured Environment as of February 2009 with planned new builds should adhere to the Secured By Design (SBD) requirements (http://www.securedbydesign.com) and achieve the SBD standard on their completion. Perpetuity and ACPO CPI will review organisations which are unsuccessful at achieving SBD standards on new builds on a case by case basis in order to determine whether this affects their Secured Environments accreditation.
